This is an other ranks German East Africa native Asgari volunteer soldiers Tarbusch (fez) eagle.
This type worn solely by the East African Polizeitruppe in WW1.

This is a good " Been There " example of the 1983 Pattern American " Fritz " kevlar helmet.
Worn in Iraq, " Desert Storm " campaign.
Iraqi Desert sand impregnated into the chin strap and up inside the helmet band.
