GENUINE - WW2 - M40 GERMAN HELMET - NO DECAL - QUIST 66
Scarce Post 1940 decal drop large size Quist 66 M40 combat helmet.
Rear mkd, " Q66 " and Lot no. " DN ...", the rest of code being obscured by a paint run which is recorded as characteristic of helmets coming out at that time ( Brian Ice ).
Sheepskin liner retains it's light tan colour although a bit dry.
All tongue ends undamaged and clear (size) " 59 " ink stamp.
