An original RAF officer's so called , " Economy Pattern cap insignia as worn on the front of the peaked service dress cap.
How they call this Economy is beyond me.
Metal crown with very fine detail and inset with blue and green enamel.
Padded red velvet backing behind the crown.
Gilt eagle and bullion wire wreath. Black wool backing .
Black cotton backing.

WW1 - SCOTTISH TERRITORIAL RED CROSS BRIGADE - GLASGOW V.A.D.BADGE
A scarce short lived Great War “Scottish Territorial Red Cross Brigade" badge or medal. Circa 1908 into WW1.
Silver plated oval shape surmounted by a pin bar, the centre with an undamaged translucent enamel red cross.
In this case the bar has " GLASGOW - 2 VAD ".
Most are blank so this is an attributed rarity.
