Cased Forty Years Faithful Service Medal (Treudienst Ehrenzeichen .
Instituted by Hitler on 30th January 1938.
The medal comes in its original red leatherette covered wooden case of issue with : Deschler & Sohn, Munchen " to the white satin lid.
Base is of red velvet.
" 45 " within a oak leaf cluster to lid.

EARLY WW2 BRITISH TOMMY HELMET WITH NET & NAMED
First issue of the WW2 Tommy helmet introduced in 1938.
Main charecteristics , Satin bronze / green finish.
I've never taken the net off but it retains a large percentage of the shiny finish and not with the usual rust spotting these helmets usually have.
Oval top cushion pad attached by 4 rivets, only used on the 1st run of helmets.
