Edinburgh silver hallmarks for 1924.
Beautifully hand fretted.
No rubbing or damage.

One of a number of badges from a Vet bring back collection recently purchased from the family.
Nice early example of a KVK 2nd Class without swords.
Ring marked " 88 " for Werner Redo - Saarlautern.
Original long ribbon and packet of issue.
The packet is also marked " Werner Redo , Saarlautern " so nice original set, not a marraige .

FIFE & FORFAR YEOMANRY WW1 GILT & ENAMEL SWEETHEART / LAPEL BADGE

Rare example. larger size then a normal sweet heart badge, 3 cm x 3 cm.
Gilded Thane of Fife in relief.
Birmingham maker mkd. to rear.
Original pin and hook. The pin slightly over long as you find on early examples.

SEAFORTH OR H.L.I. TROPICAL USE - TARTAN SHOULDER STRIP

Regimental tartan shoulder slide as worn primarily in North Africa usually only on one epaulette.
Mc Kenzie tartan so potentially Seaforth or H.L.I.
Wool .
Nicely folded for wear on the shoulder strap.
Never been stitched so likely unused.
Very difficult to find originals of these and this was one of two that came to me with other Seaforth items many years ago...  read more

Good no motto example.
Blackened brass chequred handle.
Uncleaned.
Blackened Parkerised full length blade with good point .
Light surface rust , no pitting.
No markings I can see.
Leather scabbard is good but has had the top part removed which is not unusual.
Good example at a very affordable price.
