Maker mkd. " SANDILANDS & SON, CONDUIT ST W.". This to the beautiful acid etched blade which has to one side the Argyllshire Boars head and " NE OBLIVSCARIS" and to the other side the Sutherland Wildcat and " SANS PEUR". Clipped back stout blade.

Another piece in over the counter from the son of a WW2, 4th KOSB veteran.
Good untouched dagger.

3rd Pattern F.S. Fighting Knife.
Very interesting and scarce dagger this one.
No. " 1 " pommel mark ( Maybury London ) and is definitely of wartime manufacture but as it was unissued it was post war stamped to the cross guard.
Wartime scabbard.

Uncleaned so will clean up, to what extent I can't say.
Darkening, no rust or pitting.
When this came to me the handle was broken and the cross guard was absent so blade, pommel and scabbard being sold ( see my other sales for the other parts).

Textbook 2nd Pattern.
Good honey coloured handle with no cracks or damage and retaining it's wire binding.
Scabbard with no dents or creases.
Nicely etched Squirrel logo to a clean blade with no rust or pitting.

Good example of a Field Officers cap with the bullion embroidered peak for Major and above.
In a green ribbed Tri-Cot material.
Made by Bancroft and with their perspiration shield in the crown.
