How they call this Economy is beyond me.

WW2 - 1942 DTD. XL BRITISH ISSUE LEATHER JERKIN

Dated example in a large size of this now scarce item.
WD arrow & year letter “O” (1942) to the inside.
X Large size to fit up to 44.5” chest.
Inside has a little moth here and there and the leather is dry and imo , could do with some Pecards or hide food.
A bit of cracking to the exterior finish at the back of the shoulders , ( see pics ) .

Good nickel silver example dating to the Great War.
Correct pedestal top with undamaged orange coloured foiled citrine.
This type of sgian dhu is unique to the Gordons.
Leather covered wood scabbard with plain mounts, the top one with an impressed Fleur De Lis to the back , possibly a trade mark.

Officers example in heavy nickel silver with sharp detail.
Ribbed outer strap with" By Dand " in raised lettering.

He bought it from a fellow officer at the outbreak of war so I'm dating it to around the Great War.
Studded bog oak handle with gilded fittings and gilt St. Andrew.
