WW2 BRITISH A.F.S. (AUXILIARY FIRE SERVICE) HELMET- 1939 DTD

Rare early war helmet.
At the start of WW2 helmets were red painted however as the fear of being seen from the air by German planes was a concern they were subsequently painted in dark colours so this is a rare survivor.
