Large size officers belt buckle .
Not for the dirk belt as that is smaller, this is what I would call the standard waist belt size.
Gilded seeded curved back plate with lovely age toning .Beautifully detailed silver fittings with no rubbing or damage.
Left uncleaned but will polish up nicely if desired.
This is the only one I've had in this larger size.

Superb example of an officers / Pipe Major / Drum Majors Regimental Sgian Dhu .
Made by the best of the Scottish silversmiths Kirkwoods of Edinburgh.
Kirkwoods had their own workshop as opposed to Anderson etc. who farmed the work out locally.
