GERMAN M40 HELMET NORWEGIAN ARMY POST WAR USE

Now very collectable in their own right, this is a German M40 helmet re used by the Norwegian army post war.
Large SE66 shell with lot no. 5072. The Ice helmet book has this as originally leaving the factory as a single decal Luftwaffe.
Good red dyed liner and Norwegian roller buckle chin strap.

Extremely rare group of Estate Fresh items to a Colonel who was captured at the Fall of Kut - El - Amara in Mesopotamia in the Great War.

World War 1 Battlefield Souvenir Sweetheart Brooch. Approx. 4.7 cm wide.
"1914 - 1916 Souvenir".
This is a rare example with a monoplane as opposed to the more common rifle or sword types.

WW1 - SCOTTISH TERRITORIAL RED CROSS BRIGADE - GLASGOW V.A.D.BADGE

A scarce short lived Great War “Scottish Territorial Red Cross Brigade" badge or medal. Circa 1908 into WW1.
Silver plated oval shape surmounted by a pin bar, the centre with an undamaged translucent enamel red cross.
In this case the bar has " GLASGOW - 2 VAD ".
Most are blank so this is an attributed rarity.
