I believe this to be a souvenir from the Battalions time in Hong Kong.
Beautifully hand embroidered multicoloured Cap Badge device on a Chinese silk scarf with Hong Kong and date.
Rare piece.
Scarf has subtle pattern of Pagodas, bridges, people with lanterns etc. Fringed ends.

As per a cap badge but with wire loops for fitting to the Generic crowned star helmet plate used on the Home and Foreign Service helmets.
