WW1 - MK 3 - ARGYLL & SUTHERLAND HLDRS. ARMY PIPERS G10 DIRK
Rare genuine issue Mark 3 Army Pipers dirk introduced in 1913.
Attributed to the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders.
All original condition .
Nickel silver mounts and fittings.
Raised Kings crown to pommel.
Bog oak studded handle with all studs present.
Period blade.
The bottom handle mount stamped, " A & S H .- 26 - RGD 7 ".
Scabbard top mount stamped , , " A.S.H. - 2 D ".
Good condition , very clean blade with good point with a tiny piece of lifting to the sharp edge near the point but no darkening or pitting.
Leather scabbard VGC.
The thistle fittings all good with very slight polishing to the high points.
Uncleaned and will come up a treat if desired.
