CAMERONIANS - 1950 DTD. - RIFLE GREEN BALMORAL BONNET

An extremely rare , short lived example of an issue Cameronians Balmoral bonnet.
Balmorals were used by the Scottish Regiments briefly before their going back to glengarries.
This version is unique to the Cameronians.
Rifle Green wool body with black touree to crown.

Early war, War Merit Cross With Swords First Class.
Marked 43 for Julius Bauer Sohne-
Uncleaned but will polish up nicely if desired.
Constructed from die struck nickel-silver base that has been silver washed.
The reverse is maker marked on the pin “43” for Julius Bauer Sohne, Zella Mehlis/Thür.

Retains most of it's silvered finish .
Pebbled aluminium.
Black painted swaz.

2 nice condition enamel mufti badges relating to the Norfolk Rgt.
One with " 1st V.B. Norfolk Reg. Veteran ". Maker mkd. to rear Vaughtons Bhm.They served in the Boer War.
The other one is for " The Royal Norfolk Regiment - Association ".

WW1 - BRITISH HOOKED QUILLION BAYONET - ENFIELD

Early rare hooked quillion bayonet.
Enfield made example.
Wood grips good.
Sprung button working.
Blade has never been cleaned and does'nt have a lot in the way of markings although you can make out Enfield to the ricasso .
Retains most of the bright finish with some rust to the lower edge.

GERMAN WW2 LUFTWAFFE WINTER FUR CAP ( PELZMUTZE )

Good example of the winter fur cap adopted in Russia circa 1942.
Scarcer Luftwaffe example.
Most of these tend to be a bit rotted out but the skin on this one is in good order.
Goatskin with fold down flaps, these with period field repairs/re stitching .
Retains the fixing button and stout loop for fastening the flaps on top or under the chin.
