Good example of the standard half inch brass escape compass.
Developed by Christopher Clayton Hutton at MI9. Black painted cylindrical brass case/body which retains a good percentage of the original black finish.

WW1 SEAFORTH HLDRS. SILVER PLATED , SHAPED GLENGARRY BADGE

Stunner this one.
Silver plated with extra detail to the antlers.
Customised by the soldier .
I get them sometimes with the antler tips teased out to give them a bit of " Attitude " but this one goes a step farther.
The scroll has also been shaped for wear on the TOS giving it a cracking stand out 3D profile.

Incredible matching set all with the same 1881 silver hallmarks and all maker mkd. , " P.F. " ( Philip Firmin ).
No rubbing or damage apart from the die struck thistle pouch badge is missing one of it's two posts and this also lacks a hallmark.

WW2 - 1942 DTD. XL BRITISH ISSUE LEATHER JERKIN

Dated example in a large size of this now scarce item.
WD arrow & year letter “O” (1942) to the inside.
X Large size to fit up to 44.5” chest.
Inside has a little moth here and there and the leather is dry and imo , could do with some Pecards or hide food.
A bit of cracking to the exterior finish at the back of the shoulders , ( see pics ) .
