WW2 NORTH AFRICA / ITALY TOMMY HELMET C/W SACKING COVER & NET - S.A.

This is a superb example of a South African made British combat helmet from the North African/Italy campaign.
All original.
1940 dtd. Rand liner. This a bit dry as to be expected.
Chin strap a/f at one side .
Covered with it's original sacking and net .
Tan South African made helmet as issued to the 8th Army.
Without removing the cover as far as I can ascertain the shell retains all it's original tan paint
Has the correct 3 holes at the rear for attaching a neck flap.
Rare to find one of these with the original burlap and camo net .
