WW2 - ARGYLL & SUTHERLAND HLDRS. - OFFICERS BALMORAL BONNET

A style of Balmoral bonnet favoured by Scottish officers in WW2.
Light oatmeal colour wool body with green / white dicing.
Matching colour "Touree".
Tan silk trim and short tails which were often tied in a bow.
Comes with it's outstanding Argylls cap badge in heavy cast nickel silver. Fully fretted domed centre.
Original to it with the impression of the badge visible on the silk rosette.
Clean interior with owners name.
Size 55 / 56.
Been in my collection for decades and this is exactly how it came to me from the officers family.
