Zinc example with the usual finish loss to the wreath.
The hull and waves still retain most of their finish.

POLISH WW2 - 8TH INFANTRY BRIGADE - SILVER/GOLD RING

Extremely rare piece and found locally here in Bridge of Allan where the 8th were stationed prior to D Day along with the 9th Polish Lancers and an Infantry Brigade.
They adopted the Scottish Lion Rampant with an 8 below as an unofficial Formation Sign and it was worn on their battledress.
