VICTORIAN - BLACK WATCH PIPERS X BELT / CAMERON HLDRS. CAP BADGE
Nice badge as used by both the Camerons and Black Watch.
Camerons it was a cap badge.
It was also worn by Black Watch pipers on their cross belt known as the Badge of Scotland.
This practice continued until their absorption into the Royal Regiment although most pipers by then only had a later type with the Cameron scroll at the bottom as these early badges are scarce.
