Unmarked silver with undamaged blue & red enamel.
To the back are his hand applied initials and the date( of his enlistment ) .
Enlisted 1910 and saw extensive action in the Great War rising to Commanding Officer of the 2nd Btn. in 1916.

Nickel fittings.
Nice light coloured handle with no breaks or damage.
Eagle and SA device both good.
Tight fit between dagger and scabbard.
Gau marked to cross guard " No " , (Nordsee).
Early anodised scabbard.
Ball finial undented although are a couple of very slight marks on the tailpiece.read more
