Very sharp die struck detail in high relief.
Cupal silver.
Retains it's 4 flat pin fixings .
Rzm and maker marks are very clear, " M1 / 13 " (L. Christian Lauer, Nürmberg).

Strengthening tang on the back to support the eagle.
Very sharp detail and a bronze finish.
Old polish residue everywhere.
Nice age toning.
Down side is , it's missing it's north lug otherwise V.G.C. .

Most I'm seeing have blurred detail whereas this one shows very clear detail.

Only used by the Regimental pipers.

Textbook example.
SS / SA , 1st Pattern circa 1927 Cap Eagle.
Made of Neusilber.
Commonly used on the Kepi and early visor cap.
Also used by the NSDAP until about 1934.

Gilded Aluminum cap with it's 3 crimped in prongs present.
From a collection of vet bring backs bought from the son many years ago.

EARLY VICTORIAN ( 1830 ) - SCOTTISH REGIMENTS BALMORAL BONNET

Beautiful and extremely rare early Balmoral type bonnet as worn by some Scottish regiments in the Crimea period.
Incredible condition especially considering it's age.
Circa 1830's.
Hand knitted and carded thick wool.
Diced band.
Crown retains it's stiffness.
