Scarce example which is most likely silver.
Sand cast badges were often made in theatre but this is of better quality.
Collar size .
Golphic crown.
Circa Boer War or WW1.
No rubbing or damage.
Silver lugs.
Uncleaned with nice black age patina I associate with silver and the silver lugs seal the deal for me .
Most S.H. badges are die struck so this is a nice variant.
