WW1 LEEDS PALS - GREEN EMBROIDERED CLOTH PATCH

A nice and very rare item which came in with a group of One Mans items , he having served with the Leeds Pals in the Great War , ( name to buyer ).
Rifle green wool backing with gold embroidered cap badge device and " LEEDS " underneath.
It's not a school badge or similar.

Original Regimental tartan patch which went behind the cap badge on the Tam o Shanter.
This one came in along with other Argylls items straight from the family home of a WW2 vet and the name of the officer can be given to the buyer.

Textbook example.
SS / SA , 1st Pattern circa 1927 Cap Eagle.
Made of Neusilber.
Commonly used on the Kepi and early visor cap.
Also used by the NSDAP until about 1934.
Both prongs on back.

This is the earlier version replaced in the '80's by a dark grey version.
