Beautiful matching set of one officers items ( DRV & A & S.H. ), all named to him.
Comprises a matching set of, DRV officers Plaid Brooch, Shoulder Belt Plate and Waist Belt Plate.
These all named to him on the backs and with the same date, likely when he was commissioned.
His Officers Territorial Decoration is also beautifully inscribed with his name , rank and " Argyll & Sutherland Hldrs " .Silver hallmarked. By now he is a Major.
The rest of the medal group comprises a Volunteer Long Service medal and a 1911 Coronation medal , all with associated miniatures.
Also 2 gold sports medals, again named to him. All in their fitted period case.
Very rare.

The DRV later became the 9th Argyll & Sutherland Hldrs.
They continued to wear some of the old DRV items evidenced by a Great War officers grouping I had in many years ago which included a plaid brooch and Wbc. There was no previous family history with the unit
