WW1 ARGYLL & SUTHERLAND HLDRS SKEAN DHU

Great looking Argylls sgian dhu. circa the Great War.
Nickel silver well detailed mounts.Princess Louise cypher to handle.
Bog oak studded handle with all silver studs present.
Beautifully cut real stone to top , not glass citrine.
" Shaped to the leg " as is often found with Argylls examples .
This to stop it tearing through your best diced hose !
Good clipped back blade with a good point.
No pitting, a couple of small areas of blackening but I never clean anything so may well polish off if desired
Correct leather over wood scabbard in great shape with no dryness or shrinkage to the leather.
Now rare.
