WW2 GERMAN - S.S. MANS DAGGER -1933 - RBT. KLASS C/W ORIGINAL HANGER

As nice as they come this one !!
" Out the Weeds " straight into my collection from a local family decades ago.
It was among the fathers WW2 items and was completely unknown to them previously.
Pre RZM SS Mans 1933 Model.
By top maker Robert Klaas, Solingen who actually did'nt make many SS models so it is scarce.
. Ebony handle, solid nickel-silver upper and lower cross guards , with no shrinkage or splits to the wood.and the eagle and runes fit perfectly .
The lower crossguard stamped with the Gruppe mark , 'I' (stamped on the horizontal). ( Munich ).
Clean blade with deep etched " Meine Ehre Ist Treue'" motto to the obverse, and the Robert Klaas maker-name and trademark to the reverse.
Good point , no pitting rust or runner marks.
The anodised scabbard retains it's original finish and solid nickel-silver upper and lower mounts.
C/W it's original to it leather / nickel hanging strap with the attaching clip bearing nicely etched details.
I just beat the Cops to it !!
