LOTHIAN & BERWICKSHIRE YEOMANRY CAVALRY HELMET WITH ORIGINAL TIN - ATTRIBUTED

Beautiful Troopers helmet which belonged to a Sgt.Connell who later moved to the Glasgow Yeomanry before becoming Commanding officer of the Lanarkshire Yeomanry in 1910.
Metal skull with large imposing helmet plate and white horsehair plume.
Good size approx. 57.
Good condition leather liner with his name applied in ink.
All original inc. chin scales, these with no leather backing.
C/w japanned carrying tin with his name and Glasgow Yeomanry on brass plates.
