Kreigsmarine E Boat badge by Schwerin.
Zinc example with the usual finish loss to the wreath.
The hull and waves still retain most of their finish.
Nicely mkd on the back, “FEC W E PEEKHAUS BERLIN AUSF SCHWERIN BERLIN 68”.
Horizontal Coke bottle pin with stout catch and retains the round wire top hook.

Extremely Rare short lived piece from my personal Argylls collection.
Centre from the helmet plate used on the cloth helmet betwenn 1878 to 1181 only.
O/R's.
Never cleaned but I daresay it will polish up nicely if desired.
With the generic back plate , I see these doing upwards of £650 with Bosley achieving a hammer price of £950.

They later were worn by Pipers and Bandsmen.
