Early 50's example in nickel silver not the later chromed version.
Thistle etched quoit with cap badge type device to centre.

WW2 - K.O.S.B. (KINGS OWN SCOTTISH BORDERERS) - GLENGARRY
Wartime original.
Wool diced band with a few small moth nips.
Original to it cap badge, this I've left with it's untouched, age toning.
Lining has had the crown part deliberately torn out by the soldier so possibly used in a hot climate ?
Painted " KOSB " and number stencilled inside so directly attributed to them.

WW2 GERMAN K98 BAYONET WITH LEATHER FROG & MATCHING NUMBERS
This is an excellent example of a K98 bayonet by ASW ( E.F.Horster - Solingen ) with matching numbers and 1941 date to ricasso and scabbard. ( 41 ASW ) and number ( 7930 ).
