Good example of a " Been There " rimmed Brodie helmet circa 1916.
Rough original drab sand finish.
No rubber doughnut as found on later models.
Remains of paper label to inside crown.

Wehrpass with no entries with accompanying document stating " Sgt Hannes Filgis lost his soldbuch in combat and this document acts as a valid stop gap until his replacement can be issued.
