Like many R.F.C. flyers he has come from a line Regiment and they often affected their previous regimental dress as well as keeping their affiliation to that unit .

Outer strap with " RENFREW COUNTY POLICE " in relief and raised Prince of Wales ( Renfrew ) feathers and coronet to the centre , male part.
Very small Police force at that time so the chances of seeing another of these is slim.
