Large size belt, approx. 38 inches.
Leather is in great condition retaining it's polished finish and with Wuppertal maker and 1941 date. Catch retains it's field grey painted finish.
The buckle itself has the bulk of it's shiny blue paint and it's leather tang, this with Aurich Dresden clear stamp and 1940 date.read more

WW2 GERMAN - ARMY BELT & BUCKLE - K u Q - 1938

Rare original German WWII Heer belt and buckle set.
Pebbled aluminium buckle , 1938 dtd. and maker mkd , "K ü Q" ( Klein & Quenzer , AG, Idar-Oberstein ).
1939 dtd. on both buckle and the leather buckle tab.
Belt is original to the buckle.which is a size 32 inches approx. and in good supple combat worn condition.

This is a untouched vet bring back belt and buckle which did'nt sit out the war and has never even been apart.
Uncleaned buckle with some surface light rust and retaining most of it's original blue paint.
Inside it still has dirt and gunge so rather than disturb that I did'nt attempt to take off the buckle to look for maker marks.
