93rd (Sutherland Highlanders) Victorian Officers bonnet badge (Bloomer 238).
Only worn between1879-1881, this is a genuine example of this rare badge. ( not your £20 evilbay fake )
Gilt on brass with 2 brass north and south lugs to the rear.

Original to it cap badge, this I've left with it's untouched, age toning.
Lining has had the crown part deliberately torn out by the soldier so possibly used in a hot climate ?
