Rare " Been There " U Boat award ,.
1st type, earliest variant U1.1.1 in tombak which got 100% positive reviews on WAF !
Gilded finish , a good percentage of which is present.

1ST PATTERN FAIRBAIRN SYKES COMMANDO DAGGER / FIGHTING KNIFE

A very clean untouched and unmessed with 1st Pattern Fairbairn Sykes.
Full length blade , not shortened.
Correct " S " cross guard for the 1st Pattern.
Etched panels very clear.
Nice deep knurling to the handle as found on the earliest examples.
