A scarce original 'Ulster Day September 28th 1912 We Will Not Have Home Rule badge', the reverse with unusual embossed maker's details 'Gibson & Co Ltd Belfast' and 'RD 609662' a registered design and patent date of 1912. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel with very minor flaws.

Just in and would be hard to beat this one.
Silver fittings, beautiful acid etched blade.
These is a real sleeper straight from an old Argylls family.
Correct side by side knife and fork and all matching stones.
Contained in it's original blue silk lined leather bound case.

Very clean example of an all nickel 2nd Pattern referred to as the Officer pattern.
Introduced in 1941 with a run of 40,000.
Clean blade , clear etching to both sides.Both retaining their black background with no fading out.

Scabbard I believe is possibly non original ? I've reflected this in the price.

Sheepsking liner.
Chin strap present but cut on the long end.

SS - 4 YEAR SERVICE MEDAL- 1ST TYPE - VET BRING BACK

Bought locally in central Scotland.
This came with a number of other award Bring Backs, straight from the Vets family.
WAF posted and confirmed as a Type 1 by unknown maker.
Retains most of the black original finish .
Teardrop hanger and suspension ring are correct.
Came with no ribbon but I will include the copy piece in the photo.

WW2 Tam O Shanter , made by "A & J. Gelfer - Glasgow" who operated until 1945 producing TOS's for the military.

Rare large size Cavalry officers Horsemans Knife as used in the Boer War.

A style of Balmoral bonnet favoured by Scottish officers in WW2.
