WW1/1920'S BLACK WATCH OFFICERS HELMET WITH HACKLE

I'd only ever seen these in photographs so to actually turn one up and c/w it's original hackle came as a big surprise, even the Black Watch museum do not one of these.
Private purchase Hawkes helmet with purpose built metal loop to accommodate this type of unique to it hackle. Hackle seems to be on a sprung wire that slots into the loop.
