Brass scabbard.
Double edged blade with “SIEBE GORMAN” etching. Some light surface darkening uncleaned.

Pommel has ( number ) , " 1 " for J. Maybry of London.
A pommel number is a clear indication of wartime manufacture . Handles were outsourced to different manufacturers who were allocated a pommel number for quality control purposes.

First model Mauser bayonet used up to and including WW1. Blade measures 20 and a half inches. Overall length just under 26 inches.
This one straight out a loft. Unit mkd. to Quillion "B. 2. I." plus other numbers ( indistinct ). Bavarian Inf. Rgt. 2 ?
Exactly as found but will clean up if desired. Erfurt maker mkd. and dated '04 to spine.
