WW1 BRITISH - OVERSEAS SERVICE CHEVRONS - TROPICAL TUNIC

Three blue stripes for 3 years service overseas.
This set is blue embroidered but onto cotton material as opposed to the usual wool so I believe these to be from the Khaki Drill tropical tunic worn in the likes of Gallipoli and Palestine.
Worn on the lower right sleeve.

WW2 BRITISH BLACK LANYARD & ARP WHISTLE

WW2 " A.R.P. " ( Air Raid Precautions ) whistle on black pleated lanyard.
That's how it came straight out the house early June '24.
Possible he was a Great War soldier who used his unit lanyard for his whistle ? I've never seen one attached to an army lanyard before.
