One of the first helmets with the light green paint. 1st type oil cloth tongue liner with again, 1st type buckle chinstrap.

Stunning " Been There " helmet.
Rare decal / transfer only found on officers examples circa 1939.
Helmet finished in a heavy In Theatre applied sand camo.
Decal is good.
Inside would suggest the helmet has been worn in a hot climate with the oil cloth finish sweated/ worn off.
