Good straight from the family helmet and goggles set.
Helmet is in good condition with most of the chromed leather finish good. One small area of finish loss where the goggles have been sitting . Small point as the leather is nice and supple.
All wiring present and good.
Receivers with markings"10/ 13466" and WD arrow and " Ref No. 10A / 13466 " and AM crown.

Scarce piece carried by bombers in event of ditching.
Measures appro,x. 18 x 15 x 8cm.
RAF blue painted exterior with hinged lid.
To the lid , a Red Cross , AM ( Air Ministry ) and "FIRST AID OUTFIT - AIRCRAFT DINGHY LARGE (4 - 10 MEN) - BOTTOM LEFT BRIGHT FOR HELIOGRAPH PURPOSES ".
Retains most of it's original paint and is in better condition than most I see.
