1950'S / 60'S HIGHLAND REGIMENTS "PURSE 13" SPORRAN

Rare and highly sought after.
So called "Jacobite Sporran".
Near mint unissued example which has never been white blancoed and retains it's original brown chamois leather purse.
Brass cantle with well functioning catch.
Dated 1968 inside.
C/w a white buff leather sporran belt which did not come with it but is the correct type and as these are now extremely hard to come by, I'm including this one in the sale.
This sporan was never popular with the troops as in wet conditions the white blanco ran on to their kilts.
Continued in use by SNCO's into the late '60's.
Standard day sporran for all Scottish Regiments.
