WW1 ARGYLL & SUTHERLAND HLDRS. OFFICERS S.D. BADGE - FLAT BRASS LUGS

Very interesting cap badge.
It's an o/r's solid centre white metal but with an official applied brown finish for wear by officers with the Service Dress.
This one also has the thin brass electrical connector lugs only found on Scottish badges in small numbers although these are well documented.
Back retains the original finish while the front has the applied drab brown chocolate finish.
Nice Great War variant.
