WW2 - ARGYLL & SUTHERLAND HLDRS 1939 DTD., " SWINGING SIX " SPORRAN

One of the best examples I've had !
1939 dtd. and maker mkd. for , "J.G.Stevenson Glasgow ".
Impressed WD arrow as well as an ink stamping.
Still retaining it's light tan colour indicating it has been stored away in a trunk or similar and has never age darkened.
Brass pocket button present.
Nicely set up.
No congealing to the shellac cantle insert.
Brass topped hair tassles.
Brass cantle with no scratches or dents.
Full horsehair body.
Stout strap loops with no stitching faults.
Hard to better this one !
