Rare pocket field surgical set circa 1890's - 1920's as used in the Boer War and WW1.
Leather case with gold embossed " FANNIN & Co. Ltd. - DUBLIN ".
Full complement of surgical instruments.
Some of the instruments with Fannins stampings others with WD arrow and other makers.
At least one stamped " Sterling " ( silver ).
Leather case with outer buckle strap which functions well.
Nice original set.
