ARGYLL & SUTHERLAND HIGHLANDERS PIPERS SPORRAN

Vety good early example of a Argyll pipers hair sporran.
These sporrans were unique to pipers and as such are now very hard to come by.
Full brown horsehair with 3 black tassles.
Well detailed thistle motif nickel silver tassle tops.
Heavy chrome cantle with 3 separately applied pieces comprising, Boars Head with motto, tail up Wildcat with motto and Princess Louise cypher.
Cantle still with black trim round the leading edge.
Lovely tan leather purse back with stout belt loops and brass button.
