M40, maker details indistinct due to paint.
Nice Braunschweig maker stamp to the liner with offset stitching.
I've come across these before and the maker stamp is nicely impressed to the leather .
Pigskin on zinc band with soldiers initials in ink.
Part original chin strap which is the later thick leather.
