WW2 RARE “W” HEAD WARDENS HOME FRONT HELMET

This is a super and unusual helmet.
"W" and a large rank diamond to both back and front so the insignia literally goes back to front right over the top odf the helmet.
White stencilling.
Original early war shiny brown paint , this with some light surface rust .
No dates to the shell but the liner is dated 1939.
Liner and chin strap both good.
Great looking helmet and rare with the gloss finish before they went to drab..
