ROYAL SIGNALS - ( 32 SCOTTISH VOLUNTEERS) - PIPERS PLAID BROOCH

Genuine army issue plaid brooch for the Royal Signals Pipes and Drums.
Circa 1952.
Worn only by unit pipers.
Plain silver plated quoit with Signals device to the centre surmounted by a seperate Queen Elizabeth crown.
One of the three securing pins to the main part absent although it's still secure.
Stout pin and hook.
This is a extremely rare item as it was never a big band.
