WW2 - 9TH H.L.I. - GLASGOW HLDRS. - 2ND BTN. " BLUNT STAR " CAP BADGE

2nd Batt.Glasgow Highlanders,Highland Light Infantry cap badge.
Circa.1939-46.
Found in the loft of a deceased estate along with WW1 medals and various other pieces attributed to family members who seem to have served in both the HLI and the Life Guards by an electrician rewiring the house for the new owner.
Known as the Blunt Star pattern, genuine examples of these are extremely hard to come by.
Sharp struck w/m .
No rubbing .
One lug a bit bent but otherwise
