WW2 - ROYAL SIGNALS OFFICERS PEAKED CAP - ATTRIBUTED

A straight from the family purchase so Estate fresh.
Always nice to get a genuinely attributed cap .

" Been There " officers peaked cap in the classic ribbed gaberdine.
All original as worn in North Africa by the officer ( name and service details to buyer only ) .
C/w it's original officers bronze Royal Signals cap badge and bronze GS strap buttons.
Nicely shaped by the officer.
Two coated metal air vents to underside of the rear crown.
Leather chin strap very good.
Leather sweat band good. Rear seam stitching a/f.
Supple and stamped " Real Roan Leather "
Crown of the cap is fitted with a full celluloid sheet for protection against sweat .
This has protected the very clear gold coloured Liverpool makers label and details to crown.
No moth or damage.
Approx large size 57 / 58.
Quality maker, light genuine service wear , great shape, attributed. Just a really good cap !
