Scarce genuine issue Scots Guards pipers No.1 tunic.

Dark blue wool body with white piping.
Anodised silver colour regimental buttons.
Concealed hook and clip fastenings to the front.
Smallish size , approx 37 " inch chest.
Made by distinguished Military tailor Hobsons of London and has their details to the hanging loop.
Army contract label with " Tunic Mans , F/ Gds., Piper , Scots Guards " to inside .
Tunic has some light service wear and a bit of rubbing to the nape of the cloth where the pipers bass drone has sat at the Right hand shoulder.
Two buttons absent, one small one for the epaulette and one large one from the front.
Otherwise a decent tunic and scarce.
