Incredible matching set all with the same 1881 silver hallmarks and all maker mkd. , " P.F. " ( Philip Firmin ).
No rubbing or damage apart from the die struck thistle pouch badge is missing one of it's two posts and this also lacks a hallmark.
All other pieces with corresponding markings strongly suggesting being bought as a set at the same time and with the quality for a senior officer.
Unusually including the waist belt buckle.
Even the plain slides for the pouch carry silver hallmarks.
The finest set I've come across and deserves to be kept like this rather than split up.
