ARMY ISSUE PIPERS FEATHER BONNET

Current issue to the Royal Regiment of Scotland pipers / drummers feather bonnet.
Great looking bonnet.
This one apart from the holes for the cap badge could easily be mistaken for being unissued.
4 foxtails to the side, silk / cotton rear tails.
Lovely black leather sweatband and red silk crown interior.
Chin strap and rear adjuster strap both stout leather , not plastic.
Good large size 7 .
I've put a red / white feather plume on it as issued to the Highland Band as it came without one which for the pipe band could be white or red.
Red / white / black diced band.
Evidence on the rosette of being fitted with an RRS cap badge.
Scarce .

The military are paying over £700 for these bonnets.
I'm seeing shabby , worn out ones around £350 so to get one like this that you can wear for a long time for this price is very fair as it's literally new .
