WW2 GORDON HIGHLANDER EDINBURGH SILVER 1939 H/M SKEAN DHU

This is one of two items worn by a Gordons officer in WW2 and bought by me from his step son. Edinburgh silver hallmarks for 1939. Maker marked “T.E.”(Thos. Ebbuts). Voided pedestal top with no rubbing or damage. Beautiful orange foiled citrine to top. Silver studded bog oak handle. Silver securing pin just below the top mount. Leather covered wood scabbard with plain silver mounts. Good clipped back blade with a small amount of darkening to the obverse. V.G.C.
