264 BEACH COMMANDOS - ( SCOTTISH ) BEACH GROUP UNIT FLAG

One off item to the " Beach Commandos ".
This is the actual unit flag which is in overall good " Been there " condition.
Has seen use with some light fraying to the flying end as you would expect.
Triangular shape with rounded end
47” x 54” inches across.
Still with it's toggle rope.
2 piece.
Very rare, One Off item at an absurdly low price .

264th was a Scottish Beach Group.
It was part of the Territorial Army 1947-52.
One book has it created in 1945 for the invasion of Japan
Another has it created in 1956-1957 (later to become Port Task Force) to carry on the WWII beach groups role.
