Rough thick likely hand applied field grey paint exterior.

Double banded liner band with square D rings . Sheepskin leather which is dry with 3 tongue ends absent, possible head wound.
Full length maker mkd. chin strap ( Otto Jahn - Berlin present but broken in two places.
