I believe this to be a souvenir from the Battalions time in Hong Kong.
Beautifully hand embroidered multicoloured Cap Badge device on a Chinese silk scarf with Hong Kong and date.
Rare piece.
Scarf has subtle pattern of Pagodas, bridges, people with lanterns etc. Fringed ends.
Often carved boxes, tables and other items were available for troops to buy from local craftsmen.
